EPR (Expiratory Pressure Relief)

ResMed's EPR feature provides a more natural pressure delivery to soften exhalation. The device balances the breathing cycle by monitoring the breathing pattern and matches the user's inspiratory (inhale) and expiratory (breathing) cycles. EPR can be set to three different levels or turned off completely.

LCD Screen and Menu

The AirSense 10 Elite CPAP Machine has a color LCD screen and easy-to-read menus. It is very easy to navigate the menus on the screen by turning the easy-to-turn push-dial button. Select the My Options menu, this will allow you to change the following settings:

Ramp time – Bring comfort to therapy with a lower pressure period or select AutoRamp this setting allows the device to sense when sleep begins and transitions to therapy pressure.

Humidity Level – Set the heating setting from 1 (lowest) to 8 (highest) or turn it off completely.

Mask Fit – Performs a seal integrity check showing a green smiling face or red frowning face.

Pressure Relief (EPR) – Relieves pressure as you exhale

SmartStart – Device starts automatically when it detects breath

Mask Type – Set the type of mask used: Nasal; Nose Cushion; Full Face Mask

Turn on the heating – Preheat the water before starting the therapy

An integrated light sensor reads the light in the room and automatically adjusts the screen brightness. When the lights in the room are turned off, the screen dims and turns off after a few seconds. No bright screen to disturb sleep.

In ResMed AirSense 10 Elite, you can view the following advanced therapy data on the device screen via the “More Information” option in the “Sleep Report” menu:
